You Appreciate the Light is an animation in collaboration with The Children’s Society, meant to spread hope and support to those struggling out there. This was the first time I have ever worked on such a long animation on my own, being sort of a jack of all trades. It has been a great journey that has taught me so much, about myself, about society and about the technical and artistic parts of animation. The art style and music of my animation have been inspired by children’s illustrations. It starts with cool, dark colour tones which will soon be replaced by much more vibrant colours, to express hope and healing.
